Laura is a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher. As a professional dancer Laura toured the world with Rhythm of the Dance, Gaelforce Dance, Magic of the Dance, Dance of Desire and Celtic Legends. Most recently Laura danced in the Kremlin Palace Russia with Celtic Legends and appeared in the DVD of the show Celtic Legends.

 

A graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University Laura holds a BA Creative Arts Degree in Dance and Drama. Also trained in the Gaiety School of Acting and attended a Musical Theatre Course in Central School of Speech and Drama London.
 

A TCRG Irish Dance Teacher with An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha Laura is director of the Laura Kitt School of Irish Dance and has over 100 students.

 

Over the last 3 years Laura has choreographed and directed numorous shows with Innovations Theatre School a "Midsummer Madness", "It's Christmas", "Once Upon a Time","Hoodwinks","A Christmas Carol","Godspell", "The Wizard of Oz" and "Oliver".

Also choreographed "Les Miserable" for Gorey Community School and "Aladdin" the Pantomine in Gorey Little Theatre. 

 

Laura also teaches dance as part of the School Curriculum in Riverchapel N.S., Gorey Central School and Gorey Community School.
