Erin Klatt
Realtini
A
singing student of Deirdre Masterson and
Alan Cutts of the Wexford School of
Music, Erin began her stage career at
the ripe old age of four when she
appeared in Dolores Deacon's production
of Excerpts.
By
the time she was 12, she was a
well-seasoned performer appearing in
La Fiamma in the
Wexford Opera
Festival. In her teens, Erin
was taking leading roles in shows such
as Godspell and Midsummer
Madness with the Performing Arts
Stage School Avoca. In 2001 she was
crowned Student of the Year.
Although
singing is her first love, Erin is a
fine actress and was a regular on the
BAFTA
Award winning
RTÉ/BBC
co-production Custer's Last Stand Up. In
the summer of 2005, she appeared in
Bernard Farrell's Kevin's Bed with
Gorey Little
Theatre Group.
Erin began her teaching career as
assistant to
Anne Shumate
in the Performing Arts Stage School
Gorey in 2004. As an Innovations
teacher, her work has been seen in shows
such as White, Hot and Different
and It's Christmas!
Currently, Erin is not teaching regular
classes, instead taking care of
administration in Gorey. She now teaches
in Realtini, our school for 4 -6 year
olds.
Off
the record...
A devoted
mum, Erin's favourite thing in the
entire world is her three-year old son
Ryan. There is very little in life that
Erin doesn't enjoy (except for
mushrooms!) but among her best-loved
pastimes are dancing (she is a dancing
queen at heart) and SHOPPING! Erin's
motto and deep-rooted belief is the
"Everything happens for a reason."
