Denise Brennan
Singing Teacher & Musical Director
Denise Brennan is a
Soprano and found her love of singing and
performing from a very early age but began
performing professionally since the age of
nineteen where she toured America, Mexico
and Canada with “Riverdance The Show”.
Denise has also sung solo for thousands at
the renowned Bunratty Castle, performing
some of her all-time favourites like ‘Danny
Boy’, ‘Castle of Dromore’ and ‘I Know where
I’m Going’. Denise also took to the stage
at such venues as Croke Park for the 2000
Special Olympics with Riverdance, the Helix,
the National Concert Hall and the Riverside
Park hotel with the much-loved Christy
Hennessy.
Denise started her
music and vocal training with Sr. Agnes
Cecelia at St. Mary College Arklow and later
with Dr. Veronica Dunne and repetitore Jenny
Reddin for 3 years at the Leinster School of
Music & Drama. Denise has also trained with
Katherine Smith and Deirdre Masterson, and
master classes with Ronan Tynan, Madeline
Cartwright, and West End performer Morgan
Crawley and is now training with Dr.
Veronica Dunne full time.
Denise has taught
singing in the Co. Wexford School of Music
for the past two and a half years and is
Musical Director for Innovations. Pervious
shows Denise has worked as Musical Director
are Godspell, Hoodwinks, White Hot and
Different and many more including most
recently Gorey Little Theatre’s Christmas
Panto Aladdin.
Denise has played leading roles in the
Wizard of Oz, Oklahoma, Guys and Dolls,
Oliver, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Hot
Mikado and The Ha’penny Bridge. She
successfully wrote, recorded and released
her debut album ‘Sailing With The Wind’ last
October. The album is a collection of
original songs penned by Denise, Irish and
more modern ballads. The concert to launch
the CD was a huge success and tour dates in
the southeast followed with equal success.

Denise is a
versatile singer with a repertoire ranging
from folk, Irish, Celtic and crossover to
classical and modern music. Denise’s
beautiful voice is described as having warm
dulcet tones with an angelic timbre. Denise
is currently on tour in the U.S with The
Dublin Philharmonic Orchestra.
