Auditions
Entry
into Innovations Theatre School is by audition and
or interview
only.
5 and 6 year olds are asked to, attend
with their parents, for a brief
interview, while children 7 years and
older are asked to do an audition.
These auditions are very child friendly, and
we do our best to make them a positive and
enjoyable experience. We focus on what the
children can do, not what they can’t. After
all, if they could already do everything, they’d have no need
to attend the school.
The 2012 Auditions will be held
in:
Arklow: On
Wednesday 18th January from 4pm to 6pm
at Bridge Christian Community Centre.
Gorey: Gorey Community
School on
Saturday 14th January from 10:00am to
12:00pm.

At the
audition, applicants fill in an Application Form
and then are taken in small groups of 4 or 5 to
learn and rehearse a very brief drama piece and
dance routine. They then perform these during the
audition. If the children already have a drama
piece (for example, a poem or nursery rhyme), a
song, or a dance routine, they
may use this instead.
