The 2010
Auditions
Entry
into Innovations Theatre School is by audition
only. These auditions are very child friendly, and
we do our best to make them a positive and
enjoyable experience. We focus on what the
children can do, not what they can’t. After
all, if they could already do everything, they’d have no need
to attend the school.
The 2010 Auditions will be held
in:
Arklow: Moneylands
Farm on Sunday 5th September from 1:30pm to
4pm.
Gorey: Gorey Community
School on Saturday 4th September from
11am to 2pm.
The audition process
At the
audition, applicants fill in an Application Form
and then are taken in small groups of 4 or 5 to
learn and rehearse a very brief drama piece and
dance routine. They then perform these during the
audition. If the children already have a drama
piece (for example, a poem or nursery rhyme) or a dance routine, they
may use this instead.
Realtíní
(Little Stars)
Please note that
auditioning is NOT necessary for entry to Realtíní, our
new school for 4 - 6 year olds.
